Hummingbirds are fascinating little birds! Some parts of the western US are lucky enough to attract hummers all year, but those of us in the east and midwest see them only in the spring and summer months. Wild About Birds carries a huge selection of hummingbird feeders and accessories. Here are some of our favorites! My personal favorite is the "Best-1" feeder. The red plastic base comes apart for easy cleaning and the glass bottle holds 8 ounces of nectar. The saucer-like Hummerfeast feeder holds 12 ounces and is very easy to clean. The gorgeous "Red-etched Bottle" 8 oz. feeder made by Schrodt has a redwood top and base and comes apart easily for cleaning. Our "Accesory Kit" includes a booklet telling you everything you need to know about hummingbirds, 2 different cleaning brushes so you "won't miss a spot", a funnel to help fill the feeder, an ant trap to keep those pesky insects out of the nectar, and a can of nectar mix.
