Made with 1/2″ square steel bar, this wrought iron bird feeder staff comes in one section. The 12″ step-in blade provides extreme stability even in soft soil. Size: 93″ overall height. The upper arm hang point is 76″ above ground once the staff is installed. Ten pound weight capacity is perfect for large feeders and small hanging flower baskets. You can extend our Shepherd Staff 18″ with our Fully Powder coated with a baked on automotive grade finish.

For poles 1/2″ to 1-3/4″ diameter. 14-1/2″ long, 7″ in diameter. To keep squirrels from getting onto your bird feeder, place your pole-mounted feeders 8-10′ away from railings, roofs or trees. Squirrel baffles (top of baffle) should be a minimum of 4′ from the ground to protect the bird feeder. This baffle is not boxed. It does feature a descriptive wrap around label.

This is the heaviest duty American made commercially available tubular bird feeder pole. This pole has an .060 wall thickness (16 Gauge) and will not rust through. Our pole has almost twice the wall thickness found on mass market poles. It is also powder coated with an automotive quality polyurethane and lead free black baked on finish.
ERVA Tube Socket

Fits any of our tubular poles. This socket lowers the pole into the ground by 12″. You can easily increase the height of your pole later by adding one or more of several pole extenders. A benefit of this ground socket is that the pole can be removed for lawn maintenance.

Our most popular socket! The “Twist In” ground socket sinks 20″ into the ground to insure a straight and stable pole. It features a set screw and 1/2″ “twist assist” holes that accept a screwdriver – or small bar for ease of installation. This product works with all our tubular poles and allows for the full height of the pole to extend above ground.
